John, it was so great to meet you and have you for our party... we want to book
another one end of August to say farewell to summer... Joan Brannigan Werling Monroe NY
email to http://www.cupsawlake.com/ 6/20/09 Hello- I gotta say it was a blast playing and singing last night at Fab Friday .It’s a pleasure meeting new friends from the lake and laughing and talking with friends that have accumulated since 1986 when my wife Linda and I moved here from Wanaque. Thanks to Diane Kaplan for hiring me to play . Linda had a great time playing her Mandola and I was glad to see folks into the Banjo as well as the guitar tunes. What a great bunch of happy faces .I may have also acquired a new guitar student from the event! The highlight for me ,I gotta say, was announcing the story of when I was out fishing in a boat one day and two young boys were in the process of saving a duck that had fallen over the dam and returning the baby to its mother. This was such a beautiful thing to see and here’s what kills me: I ‘m on the mic last night telling this story ,saying “I ‘m not sure if these kids are here tonight but want to commend them for their honorable behavior” AND the kid was walking right past me at the time and turns around and says “ that was me”. I had no conscious idea that the kid was anywhere around but he came out of the pack of kids with a great sense of justified pride. The kids name is Christian Kerr and his Kayaking/duck saving and rockin’ band mate buddy is Danny Jonker. I was so pleased when folks gave Christian a big hand as I announced the two youths as Cupsaw Lake heroes! Sincerely, Hi John, On behalf of myself and the association I thank you and Linda for the wonderful entertainment you provided to the membership last Friday. What a really great kick-off to our Fabulous Fridays! And also thank you for sharing the story of the stranded duckling and the fact that our heroes, Christian and Danny, were in attendance. It is you and these types of people and our fantastic community that make Cupsaw Lake a true unique place to live. Regards, Chuck Manley President, Cupsaw Lake Improvement Association

"you gave me guitar lessons for about 5 years almost 15 years ago. You popped into my head and I decided to look you up. I am glad to see you are doing what you love. Believe it or not I am almost 30 years old and still love to strum. You were instrumental in my playing and I still remember the CAGED system! " Andrew Garrett
